Jacob is survived by his parents Jake and Josie Duran; his brother Jason Duran and sister-in-law Lacey Duran; along with a niece and three nephews Rylen, Landen, Taegen and Devyn. Also surviving is his girlfriend Anna Hernandez, and Sebastian Fields who was like a son to Jacob.
He was preceded in death by both sets of Grandparents, along with many aunts and uncles.
Jacob grew up in Greeley, graduating from Greeley West High School in 1985. Locally, Jacob worked as a foreman at CG&S Co., where his father was part owner. He started with Jacob Sr. in high school and continued until he decided to move his life to Kentucky where he started over with work and life in general. Jacob spent nearly 10 years in Morgantown, KY, and made many lasting relationships. Jacob eventually moved back home to Greeley to be close to his family.
Jacob’s favorite places to be were at concerts and sporting events. He loved music but his true passion was sports. He was a huge Bronco fan, and enjoyed watching the Rockies and all of our local teams. Jacob truly enjoyed conversation and did not know a stranger.
