Lois, Judy and Jim's family I am very sorry for your loss. The last time I saw Jim was when he was in the service and he looked great in uniform. I will always remember his kindness.wonderful smile, and great hair. I am so, glad I knew him. Cheryl Lewis Nicholes Deer Lodge, MT

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Judy, Lois, and Jim's family. I remember one morning in Elko, NV 20 some years ago when two gentlemen were sitting in the chairs next to me. I hadn't been paying attention to them until I heard the one tell the other that he was from a smaller town then his friend was. He made the comment that he was from a town with 596 nice people and one old sorehead...I turned around and there sat Jim Brafford. I hadn't seen him since his graduation and was quite surprised that he remembered me since I was a freshman back then. I often walk by the big old house and remember Stella and her great cooking and think of you all. We had a short but nice visit, we exchanged addresses and I invited him over to meet my husband and then he and his friend had to continue on their way. That was the last I saw of him but I am so glad we had the chance to share some old memories,& pictures of his family. I know that he will be watching over you all with a caring heart. My sympathies to all of you.

Peggy, I am here for you in any way I can be. You are much in my thoughts and prayers. Jim and I talked several times about how much he loved you. I told him "God saved the best for last" and he truly did. If I could choose the perfect stepmom for my children, you would be my choice".We will all get through this as a family together" . My prayers and heart are with you.

Jim and his family were our closest neighbors growing up north of Rudyard, and besides being related we were also good friends. Have many good memories of those days. Was glad to have the opportunity to see him last summer at a Rudyard reunion. Would have liked to spend more time with him and his sisters. Think he lived a good life and was a good man.

It was a pleasure to know Jim. He was an incredibly strong man and overcame so many obstacles in his life. I appreciated his "ornery" sense of humor outside and his heart of gold inside. He cared so much about family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Peggy, you are loved. Please remember that and know that we are here for whatever you need,
