I was so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. He and I worked together at Farm & Fleet in Ottawa, Ill where he worked part time in the tool department. He was such a joy to be around. I have kept in touch yearly at Christmas with Roy. He missed Bev. He sure loved her a lot. Still talked about her in his cards along with his wonderful son, Jeff, and his family. Sent me pictures of the girls which he adored. SO PROUD OF HIS FAMILY!!!!!!!
He will be missed.

Roy, Bev and Frieda were great people and wonderful neighbors.  As a kid I really admired Roy, especially for his service in PT boats during World War II and his ability to drive or operate anything on wheels or on tracks.  When Dad was laid up with a severe bone infection Roy mowed our grass so my brothers and I could help Mom take care of  Dad.  He was a fine man and much admired by my brothers and me.
