Dear Sue, I can't believe it has been a year but i think of you often and hope you are doing well.  I made a nice memorial page for Jim in my 2012 scrapbooking album.  Sending you hugs.

I am thinking of you and your family.  It is still difficult to process the information that Jim is no longer with us. He was one of the kindest, caring men that I have ever met.  I felt privileged and honored to have known him.

To Susie, Todd, Alex and Nick,  We are heartbroken and beyond sadness. We loved Jim and considered him our best friend.  So many time we enjoyed laughter and happiness together. At the cabin, in Old Town , in your home at Norwood, where ever we were it was always wonderful.  May he fish in serenity forever.  He also taught us so many wise and wonderful lessons and even counseled our boys in fishing but also life events that have served them well. We are always here for any and all of you. Susie, we love you!,

Jim was one of my best work colleagues ever, and a fellow MDA ""held-in-jail"" contributor. So professional, so focused on finding good solutions to tough problems, an excellent, creative designer. His thoughtful, intuitive ability to create the best combination of environmental protection and well-planned development are his professional legacy and will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to Jim's wife and family, and all others who had the opportunity to know and work with him.
