Jaydynn Taylor Hogan, 16 of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, formerly of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on July 25, 2021. Jaydynn was born August 20, 2004 in Virginia to Brendan Hogan and Katherine Potter
Jaydynn had many interests including the outdoors, and loved anything adventurous. She loved spending time with her friends, going on camping trips with her families, and liked fishing. She was very artistic, loved drawing, and expressed her thoughts and feelings through her art work. She loved dance and cheer - she was always moving and tumbling. She was in competitive cheer and was an arts magnet student. She loved animals and spending time with her siblings. She also loved music (especially her "BTS") and had a beautiful voice. She was very social and loved getting ready for anything the day would bring and any social activity she could think of, even if it didn't exist yet.
Jaydynn was not just a daughter she was a sister, a bonus daughter, a granddaughter, a niece and a friend. She was such a bright light who lit up the room just by being in it. If you knew Jaydynn you know she loved with her whole heart. She touched so many lives within minutes of knowing her, which makes this so hard for her family to have had 16 years with someone taken so soon.
Jaydynn was strong willed, independent, quirky, sassy, a force to be reckoned with, but she had a heart of gold. She loved hard with every ounce of who she was...all 5'2" of her. "Big things come in little packages, I'm fun size" she would say. She was fierce and never took no for an answer as she was going to pave the way for her life.
She brought so much love, joy and laughter to our lives. She loved her family deeply, even through trials and tribulations. Jaydynn had no limits. She was wild and free, beautiful inside and out. We know she was too big for this world.
Jaydynn is survived by her parents Brendan (Kim) Hogan and Katherine (Chase) Potter, siblings, Rylee, Gabriel, Darian (Bear) and Ariya Hogan, Jillianna Coufal, Weston and Wyatt Potter, and by her grandparents Tim and Cindy Hogan and grandmother Denise Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather John Campbell Scofield Jr.
