Jerome Robert Clark Jr.

Jerome Robert Clark Jr., 65, of Ault, Colorado, passed away on June 13, 2026. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the friendships he built throughout his life.

Jerome was born on April 9, 1961, to Jerome R. Clark Sr. and Dolores Irene Clark. He grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he attended Rocky Mountain High School before continuing his education at Colorado Aero Tech.

A dedicated worker throughout his life, Jerome held a variety of positions that reflected his versatility and strong work ethic. He worked as an apprentice electrician, ranch hand, truck driver, garbage truck driver, inside salesman, and cashier at Poulsen Ace Hardware. He also worked for an electrical supply company and proudly served on the Safety Team at Genesis Project in Fort Collins.

Jerome spent much of his life in Fort Collins before moving to Ault in 2007, where he made his home for the remainder of his years.

On March 12, 1999, Jerome married Christina Ahders in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they shared many happy years filled with adventure and companionship. He was previously married to Deborah McCoullough.

Jerome enjoyed remote-control cars, fishing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and camping. He found great happiness in being outdoors and exploring new places, whether on two wheels or around a campfire with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christina; his stepson, Kenneth J. Ruokonen; and his sister, Annette Williams (brother-in-law David), father, Jerry Clark Sr. and niece and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Irene Clark, and his stepson, Stephen A. Ruokonen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crazy Horse Memorial in Jerome's honor.

Jerome's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His kindness, sense of humor, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures will be dearly missed.

A Celebration Of Life will be held at The Genesis Project, 400 S Link Ln, Fort Collins, CO 80524, on July 11, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm.
