Jesus Adolph Mata, 62, of Greeley, passed away, August 10, 2016 in Brush, Co. Jesus was born January 19, 1954 in Denver, CO to Celestino and Esther (Longoria) Mata. He was raised in Weld County and attend school in Greeley. On November 19, 1975 he married Pat Southwell.
Jesus worked for many construction companies as a cement finisher. He was a hard worker and really enjoyed his career in construction. Jesus loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed watching westerns. He was loved and will be missed.
Jesus is survived by his wife Pat Mata; daughters Sylvia Quiroz (Noe) of Greeley, Maxine Hernandez (Martin) of Greeley; sisters Sylvia L. Montez of Boulder, Minnie Balderrama of Greeley, Margaret Steele of Lakewood, Maggie Rhoades of Greeley and Debbie Mata of Greeley; brothers John Mata of New Mexico and Joe Mata of Greeley; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brother in law Mike Southwell and Jenn a friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Frank Mata.
The service will be held at New Hope Christian Fellowship, 1900 AA Street on Saturday, August 20th at 1:00 p.m.
