He was born on April 11, 1947 in Pecos, New Mexico to Patricio and Antonia Sena. In 1965, John moved to Greeley, Colorado where he resided until his passing. He was a dedicated employee and worked as a trimmer at JBS for 26 years. In John's freetime, he loved to go fishing, watch the Denver Broncos, go to casinos and listen to music. He especially loved country music. Above all, John loved spending time with his family and his grandkids.
He will be missed deeply by all who he leaves behind. He is survived by his son, Juan Sena Jr; sisters, Isabel Velasquez and Pauline Armijo; brothers, Tony Sena, Martin Gurule and Ramon Gurule; three grandchildren, Donavon Sena, Natalia Sena and Juan Sena III. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Pat Sena, Abe Sena, Salomon Sena and Jerry Sena; and his sisters, Sophie Sena and Susan Sena.
