John was my step-dad, he raised us as his own and always treated us with respect. I have an infinite number of memories with our time with John. As kids, John would take us camping and fishing several times a year and always found the coolest and most awesome places to spend time in the wilderness. John absolutely loved fishing and camping and was more than happy to help us and show us everything there was to know about both. He had the patience of a Saint, knowledge of the wisest men known, and the kindest heart of any man I have ever met. John also loved scaring people, especially me. John would hide around corners, in the basement and behind objects, and that is when he would jump out and give you the scare of your life. John would laugh, and laugh and eventually you would start laughing too. 
I eventually had my son Dillon and John instantly fell in love with him. Dillon was the son John never had, and of course he was the proud grandfather everyone wants to be. John & Dillon had a special bond, and grandpa John loved spending time with Dillon, especially when Dillon started playing baseball. John never missed a game....ever! 
John also loved sailing ⛵️. He eventually became a captain and was able to sail his own vessel. He took us to Bahamas and the Caribbean and was absolutely the best teacher ever. John was an incredibly smart and talented man. He showed me a lot of things that I remember to this day, and use in my father based role. I honored and respected John and miss him dearly because he was taken from us way too soon. 

I love you John, always have, always will!

Twinkle in his eye is what we will miss. So very kind and loving. Amazing Husband, Dad, and Grandfather. We shared Grandchildren with John. And loved him so much. He will be missed. We were so blessed to have him our lives.

I loved working with John.   Loved his smile, his sense of humor.   I always felt good after meeting with John about anything.   He had a positive affect on everyone he came in contact with.

John was a very special person.  I enjoyed spending time with him here at PST chatting about all kinds of things.  He was a very kind and fun-loving person.  He will really be missed.

I worked with John only briefly at PST, but I could immediately tell that his kind soul and sense of humor were truly wonderful.  I will especially miss the twinkle in his eye and his cheerful nature around the office.  We miss him so much already.  Sending lots of warm thoughts your way in this difficult time.
