Jose was raised in Laredo. He joined the US Army in 1967 and was honorably discharged in 1970. His favorite quote was “I don’t got time to screw around.” He loved his dogs, Minnie and Champ.
Jose is survived by his son, Jose Gonzalez III and three grandchildren, Dominic, Jose IV and Crecencia Gonzalez.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 followed by a Liturgical service at 7:00 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home.
