Jose Ontiveros Valdez, 86, of Windsor, passed into the hands of the Lord on November 24, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 10, 1930 in Zacatecas, Mexico and moved to Colorado in 1952.
Jose is survived by his one son Joe Valdez Jr; three daughters Sara Sisneros (Danny), Rachel Valdez (Carlos) and Carmen Valdez (Anthony Trujillo); three sisters Consuelo, Panchita and Cuca; two brothers Antonio and Alejandro; 5 grandchildren Daniel Sisneros, Anthony Sisneros, Fransesca Bahns, Janay Valdez, and Robert Tapia, 4 great grandchildren Devante Sisneros, Kariah Sisneros, Devinah Maciel, and Naomi Valdez. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Evelyn, three sisters and three brothers.
Jose loved spending time with his family. He was passionate about Fishing, Hunting and his garden. He was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2016 with Recitation of the Rosary at 5:00 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment at Eaton Cemetery.
