Josephine “Josie” Marie Linnebur, 57, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Josie was born on January 6, 1960 to Earl and Helen Linnebur in Denver, Colorado. She moved to Fort Collins a year after graduating High School in 1978. Passion for her work with Larimer County showed in her 29 years of service. She was an intelligent and caring woman who will be missed by many.
During life, Josie loved to read, shop, and travel. She collected castles and donated her spare time to community service. Josie was a very loving and devoted mother to her son Matthew, and cared for her family very much.
She was preceded by her mother, and her brother David (Cindy) Linnebur. She is survived by her son Matthew Linnebur, her father Earl Linnebur, and her four siblings; Teresa (Jeff) Reckard, Sharon (Steve) Erker, Karen (Dan) Westhoff, Tony Linnebur, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Josie was well loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fort Collins, CO.
