Joyce Allely, dearly loved mother, Gammy, sister, and aunt passed away April 3, 2022 in Greeley, Colorado. Joyce was born Joyce Louise Johnson on December 27, 1931, the fifth of seven children to Henry Bayard and Gladys Magdalene Johnson at home on their farm north of Tekamah, Nebraska.
She is survived by her children, Kim of Anchorage, Alaska; Eric of Oakton, Virginia; Craig of Denver, Colorado; Rebecca of Greeley, Colorado; Zach of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming; and Magdalene of Cheyenne, Wyoming; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Don Allely, her parents, and four of her siblings.
Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Greeley on Monday April 11th at 1pm. Private burial to follow at Linn Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Yellowstone Forever.
