

Born on May 6, 1950 in Long Beach, CA., she was a daughter of the late Pete Carpenter and Mildred Melton. Judy graduated from Rye High school in 1968 and attended the University of Southern Colorado graduating with an accounting degree.
Judy was a successful accountant and seamstress for many years owning her own businesses, an exceptional gardener she cultivated over 50 rose bushes in her yard, an avid horse lover, and
always involved in one or more home projects. She married the love of her life, Donald LaVoe (Bo) Williams, on July 10, 1976. Judy was a beloved mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Evans, CO. where she found many friends and played lots of poker hands.
Survived by her; daughter, Sherri (Lenny) Trujillo of Pierce, CO., stepson, Brian (Debra) Williams of Winnemucca, NV.; grandchildren, Lilly (Parker) Gilliland of Eaton, CO., Jakeob Trujillo of Greeley, CO., Kristofer Trujillo of Pierce, CO., Joslyn (Michael) Blatter of Windsor, CO., Kyron Williams of Winnemucca, NV.; great-grandchildren, Oakleii and Tyberius Blatter; brothers, Jack (Linda) Melton of Las Vegas, NV., Tomich Carpenter of Pueblo, CO., Joel Carpenter of Pueblo, CO.; step sister, Ruthellen (Judy) Tromsness of Gresham, OR.; and her beloved four legged friend, Ruby.
In addition to her parents and husband, Judy was predeceased by her sister, Cynthia Carpenter, stepfather, Vernon Melton, and stepson, Brett Williams.
A memorial service for Judy will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at Imperial Memorial Gardens, Pueblo, CO., with a reception to follow.
A celebration of life for Judy will be held in Greeley at a later date.
