Mrs Chiniquy was one of my favorite teachers growing up. I went to Madison Elementary and I always enjoyed spending time in her classroom. I was in kindergarten and we had 5th grade buddies. My buddy had Mrs. Chiniquy and she was one of the best and most amazing teachers I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. It was an honor to have her and to know her in this life and she will truly be miss.

I knew Julie from the years she taught at Madison Elementary School in Greeley.  She was well-loved by students and staff.  Julie was the kind of teacher we would all hope to be because she was superior in her teaching skills, but more important because she was so encouraging and respectful of her students.  The last time I talked with Julie it was at Target several years ago and she beamed with love and pride as she told me all the latest news about Rachael and her grandsons Noah and Carter.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family.  She is missed, but I am happy she is at peace with God.

Julie was my cousin, and a special one among many. She was three years older and helped look after me when I was small.  When I was in high school she talked to me about books I was reading that she already knew. She was already in college and so excited and positive about life that it helped me form a hopeful outlook. Her love for everyone in her large extended family was inspiring. She was a blessing.

Julie was a teacher for our children and I appreciated her so much.
She took the time to make each child feel special and help them develop their hidden talents. 
A smile was always on her face, a hug when a child needed one.
I know the world is a better place because of having Julie in our lives.

Julie, say it isn't so.  Even though totally out of touch since high school graduation, I am greatly saddened to hear of your passing.  Blessings on you and your family.

I am sad to hear the news of Mrs. Chiniquy's passing.  I am now 36 years old but will always remember her as my most favorite teacher.  I grew up in a home with little money and was made fun of for my clothing.  After speaking to my Mom, Mrs. Chiniquy picked me up at my house one weekend and took me shopping.  We spent the whole day together, ate out for lunch and she returned me home that evening with a few bags filled with new outfits and a pair of new shoes.  This was an act of kindness that still moves me to this day. I am grateful that our paths crossed.  She was an amazing woman and teacher.  She made the world a better place to live.
