So very sorry to hear of ""Aunt"" Junes passing. She was always the lady of Grace and humor. I cherish the recipes she gave me and often think about all of you. May God give her Peace and Rest.

June was a special neighbor and friend. Mark and I would occasionally stop by the house just to check on her and Chuck, and inevitably we'd be there an hour or more. She was always so gracious, funny and welcoming to us. We'd be walking the dog, Gunner, and see her and Chuck driving home from an appointment, and they always stopped to talk and say hi to Gunner. I missed her so when she moved to town. A couple months after she moved, she called just to check on us! We must have talked for over an hour. We laughed together as she told stories of her new life in town, and reminisced about old neighbors and life in the mountains. She has always held a special place in my heart and I miss her. May she forever dance at God's side. God's peace and comfort to you, Chris and John, and your entire family.

I also remember a couple of trips to Frontier Days with Carl & June, my folks (Art & Emma), & the Robinsons. Great times! I'll never forget Carl putting on my wedding hat & posing with my bouquet of flowers, with a cigar in his mouth, at our reception at the Red Feather Bar & Cafe!  Such a special lady; rest in peace, June!

June, you were awesome... I have so many found memories of you.. Parties at your home, dances at the Red Feather Cafe and Bar. I  was fortunate enough to be part of group that went to Cheyenne Frontier Days with you.  I remember going to one of the hotels up there to party with everyone...Johney and June Carter Cash were staying at that same hotel. When they finished playing at the rodeo concrete they came out to the bar where we were. It was you, Carl, my mom and dad, Cal and I and several other people.  Johney and June Cash came over to our table and sat down to talk to all of us.  Johney was really interested in Carl's two different boots he had on.  I do believe Johney Cash signed Carls boot that night.  As we were all talking my dad asked you to dance. He said June lets go dance ... well June Carter Cash stood up to dance with dad. He looked confussed because I know he was asking you to dance.  I laughed so hard. When the night was over we went to eat again somewhere in Cheyenne. Carl ordered his liver and onions with some kind of pie and you looked at me and said ' Now Sharee I want you to know he gets that darn thing every time.'  It was a wonderful time..... one of many that I'll always cherish.... 
Go Rest In Peace...But I'm sure you are all dancing again!
