Karen Sue Cruz

Karen lived in Denver until 1989, when she moved to Sacramento, California. She married Macrino Cruz, Sr. in April 2001 and they were blissfully married until her passing. They had five beautiful children. In 2009, they moved to Greeley.

Karen was of the Catholic faith. Family was her everything. She enjoyed spending time with her cousins and hosting family gatherings at Easter.

Karen is survived by her husband, Macrino Cruz, Sr.; daughter, Hailey Cruz; sons, Samuel (Chelsea) Garcia, Chris Garcia, Robert Garcia and Macrino Cruz, Jr.; mother, Mary Ann Upham and mother-in-law, Zenaida Ocampo Cruz; brothers, Ken Torrez and Tony Torrez; brother-in-law, Roberto Cruz; grandchildren, Otis Garcia and Amerie Garcia and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Recitation of the Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. both at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
