Karen was raised in both Greeley and Johnstown. She attended Aims Community College. Karen retired as a “Team Lead” from State Farm Call Center.
Karen married Terry Simer in Greeley; they were married for 37 blissful years. Karen was a kind, loving and giving person. Her family describes her as being the caregiver to everyone.
Karen is survived by her husband Terry; son Nathan ;son David (Naomi); daughter Charity(Michael) Passmore; mother Nina Cook; father-in-law Jimmy Simer; sister Nancy (John) Masters; sister-in-law Sherry Carter; brother-in-law Jim Carter; grandchildren Zephra Rogers, Dominic Rogers, Shyann Simer and Taelor Passmore;.
Karen was preceded in death by; father Robert Holmes; mother-in-law Shirley June Simer and Aunt Clara Stanley.
Services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634. Visitation from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Funeral service at 12:00 pm then burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
