I am so so sorry you are having to go through this and I know exactly what you are going through.  OUr son, Ian, who has a page here on this site, took his life on March 23, also in Ft. Collins.  He and Karla are the same age.  We have struggled with all the usual questions, gone through the anger, guilt and denial common when faced with this situation, and I can tell you that it is very hard, and you will grieve for a very long time.  But with the help of our wonderful family and friends, who are keeping us in their prayers, along with our own prayers, we are surviving.  Someone told me to just take it one day at a time and that's what we do.  Some days are better than others.  My mother in law gave me a book that was written by a mother after her son died.  It is called ""My son...my son...A guide to Healing after Death, Loss or suicide"" by Iris Bolton.  My husband and I both read it and thought it was helpful.
My heart goes out to you and your family and I hope you can find whatever helps you through this horrible time of grief.  I will keep Karla in my prayers.  She looks like a beautiful, happy young woman.   So did my Ian, keeping all his pain inside for so many years, and just showing the world what they wanted to see.
