Kathleen Marie Piotrowski

Kathleen Marie Piotrowski, 71, of Eaton, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Hospice of Northern Colorado. She was born on June 5, 1944 in Denver, Colorado to Edward and Joyce (Kline) Grant. She was raised in north Denver with her four siblings.

Kathleen graduated from North High School and then attended school to become a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for Hospice. On October 9, 1965, she married Robert A. Piotrowski, Sr. They were married for almost 51 years.

Growing up, she was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. When her children were younger, she volunteered for Cub Scouts.

After her and Bob retired they wanted to be closer to family, so they moved to Eaton almost ten years ago. Kathleen always put her family first. She had a heart of gold. She enjoyed spending time with her family camping and fishing, traveling the Western states and gardening her vegetables, bean and herbs. She also loved to collect angels.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Bob; sons, Rob and Matthew (Kerry) Piotrowski; sisters, Marilyn (Duane) Girton and Barbara Grant; brother, Robert (Kris) Grant and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Anita Grant.
