Kathy was so excited to discover that we were from LaCrosse and that we graduated the same year.    You have my sincerest sympathy, I know how it feels as I lost Pete to lung cancer 5 years ago. Please accept my condolence for your loss.  I know if it were my wife it would be hard to believe.  It sounds like Kathleen had a very full and exciting life and it will be hard to move on.  I hope the Lord will grant you the strength to move on as I am sure that is what Kathleen would want.  It has been about 40 years since we crossed paths and I am sorry it had to be this way.  I have been married for over 30 years, have four kids, and have lived in the Houston area since 1984.  God bless and I will keep you my prayers.

I was so shocked and saddened to read of Kathie's passing.  I did not know she was sick, and wish I had known so that I could have visited her.  I only barely knew her, but the dinner we had with you two at the Moot house was so nice.  I feel I got to know her and felt we had a lot in common.  She and I shared the same birthday, June 29th.  That is why I probably felt I had known her forever.  We just clicked.  I know that she is in a better place now, joining her mother in heaven.  I am so sorry, and if there is anything Jess and I can do, please do not hesitate to call.  You have been so good to us.  Even if we just get together for a glass of wine some time. Kathie will always be remembered as a selfless, kind, and genuine woman who touched countless lives around the world with her energy and joyful spirit!
