Kayla Nicole Molina, 38, passed away on March 19, 2026. Born July 5, 1987, in Riverside, California, Kayla was beloved, kind-hearted, and resilient throughout her life. She was a resident of Greeley, Colorado. After this introduction, Kayla will be remembered simply as “Kayla,” a steady presence whose love and strength shaped the lives of those closest to her.
Kayla loved her family with all her heart. She is survived by her sons, Alex Molina, Christian Molina, and Andre Molina; her boyfriend, Justin Anderson; her father, Greg Derrera (Felicia); her mother, Stacy Derrera; her brothers, Guy Derrera of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and Gregory Derrera of Riverside, California; her sisters, Desire Derrera of California and Darlene Derrera of California; her grandparents, John and Alice Derrera; her father-in-law, Fidel Molina; and her mother-in-law, Maria Chaparro. Kayla was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel C. Molina.
Kayla’s passions reflected her spirited nature. She loved cars—especially loud, fast cars—and took particular pride in her 2016 Dodge Charger SRT. She also enjoyed watching comedy movies with her family, sharing laughter that brought everyone closer. Known as a shopaholic, Kayla found joy in the little things, and her warmth and enthusiasm made ordinary moments feel special.
As a final act of kindness, Kayla made the decision to make a selfless donation to Donor Alliance. Her donation will go on to help hundreds of lives in the future.
Kayla will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for the devotion she gave to her family, the kindness she showed to others, and the resilience she carried with her each day.
