Kenneth Joseph Aragon

Kenneth (Kenny/Ken) Aragon was born on 7/19/1953 to Juanita (Jenny) and Jerry Aragon in Brighton, CO. He grew up with his brothers, Jim, Mike and David. His family relocated to Colorado Springs when he was young where he attended elementary school. When he was an early teen his family relocated back north to Johnstown, CO. He attended Milliken Middle School and Roosevelt High School.

He met his future wife, Sophie in 1985 she relocated from Santa Barbara CA to Johnstown CO, and they were married shortly after. She came with a daughter (Amiee) and he came with a son (Guy). In 1987 they welcomed their son (Travis) and three and half years later his princess (Bobbi Jo) completed their family.

Ken was a trucker throughout most of his career. He retired from Renewable Fiber when he was 65. After retiring he spent the remainder of his years surrounded by his beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Sophie, four children: Guy (Vangie), Amiee (Jeremy), Travis (Brenda), and his daddy’s girl Bobbi Jo (John). He is also survived by his brother’s Jim and David (Rose) along with many nieces, nephews and extend family. He will be missed terribly his 11 surviving grandchildren; Rylee, Kyleigh, Jacob, Kenzie, Anthony, Amira, Aaron, Isis, Cylis, Tyus, Lanaia, and his great grandson Brentlee.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jenny and Jerry his brother Mike his grandson’s Alexander and Christian and his sister-in-law Marie (Jim).

On a personal note: Along with his presence we will miss his laughter, quick wit and sideways sense of humor #69!

He will be missed tremendously by his family.

A visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023, with Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634. A Celebration of Ken's Life will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Allnutt - Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634.
