Ken was born July 21, 1932 in Hillsboro, Kansas to Thomas and Helen (Jost) Barkman. Shortly after graduating high school in 1951, Ken moved to Colorado. On April 8, 1955 he married Beverly “Bev” Aultman in Denver, Colorado.
In life Ken enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing bingo and rooting for the Rockies and Broncos. He was a member of both the Elks and Moose Lodges. After 25 years he retired from Sinton Dairy, where he was a milkman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Betty and his grandson Mitch Trahan.
Ken is survived by his three children; Lawrence (Stephanie) Barkman of Loveland, Phillip (Stephanie) Barkman of Longmont, and Janet (Rich) Noterman of Erie, and five grandchildren; Kristen Barkman, Christopher Barkman, Amanda Noterman, Ron Noterman, and Kayla Kirtley.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-7 pm at the Allnutt Funeral Home, Loveland. Memorial Service will be 10:30am Friday at Allnutt Funeral Home, Loveland. .
