Steve, Pennie, and Chris-
I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. I stumbled upon Kim's obituary today and am in utter shock. I hadn't spoke to Kim since we were about 17 years old, but she's always been in my thoughts throughout the years. She was my best friend throughout elementary, even when I moved away in 4th grade. She was so fun, compassionate, and shared everything. I have such fond childhood memories, mainly because of her. Kim will forever be in my heart and be my most cherished childhood friend.

Mike and Alyssa-
My deepest condolences go out to you. While I never meet you, it warms my heart to read the wonderful things others have said about you. It sounds like Kimberly Kay had a WONDERFUL life-what I always had hoped for her. While your grief may be seemingly unbearable at times, rely on each other and find solace in the beauty Kim left behind. I am so sorry for your loss.

Pennie and Steve:
I was saddened to hear of the loss of your daughter. I can't imagine a greater loss. I worked with Gramma Shirley for many years and she always talked about her Kimmie. God bless you and comfort you.
