Lace, its been 7.5 years now and I'm still here missing you.  Can you see Freedom I hope so I miss her badly.  I hope you two are having a good time and save a place for me. I wonder if you've been able to see your great-grandmother up there(Grandma Bryce)?  If you do tell her I love her and think about her too.  She was right of how things would go after her death it's amazing.  I miss you so much its almost unbelievable, but true.  Do You ever think of us on your down time? Lacey,  Me again, I still miss you every minute of every day, I guess this is the way it is going to be, I still would do almost anything to have you back, I guess that will never change either.  It is just a new life, one with great sorrow, that I am still learning to live.  Some major changes will be taking place, in our lives, so don't be dishearted, it will be okay.    One of my friends at work has lost a child, and I feel so bad for her. there is no pain worse.  I do have happy thoughts of you not having to be in this world anymore and doing greater things now. Lace, I still miss you and wish you were here.  I don't think that will ever change. I am still working on trying to forgive the older man that placed you in harms way. I know I need to.  After all, he did pay for his mistake with his own life.  I understand he had a daughter not much younger than you.  I guess just being older doesn't make one smarter. Wow, Lace, you would have been 21 yrs. old today.  I'm going to send up more balloons, so keep an eye out.  I thought I felt you with me today as I ventured out to our old B-day hang-outs,If it was you thank-you. Well Lacey your 21st B-day is almost here,and I wish you were here so I could take you shopping, and have a party like usual.  Look for the baloons and cards like last year.  Know I Love you, and still miss you greatly.

I just learned about Lacey's death in March 2007, and I just looked up her obituary. I did not know she died so long ago. I did know Lacey from her days up in Missoula and I considered her one of my closest friends when I was here. I still cry when I think about her and how much I miss her. I hope that her family still looks at this.

Well Lacey it has been over a year now, and I still miss you every day from the minute I get up until the minute I go to bed, and even in my sleep.  You never leave my thoughts.  Sounds like I'll be seeing you soon though.  Love always, Mom.

I wanted to thank everyone for their time, efforts, love, and contributions.  Over 10,000.00 was raised, in Lacey's name to different organizations and funeral costs. Also hundreds of people either attended her funeral,came to our home,from numerous different states. sent flowers, cards, or called.                                I'd also like to say, on Lacey's behalf, after reading the reports, that where Lacey had control she did the right thing,she saved someones life at the cost of her own.  At her very young age (a teenager), she made the right decisions.                             I'm so very proud of Lacey, this world will never be as bright without her in it.  Some how her family will have to go on.      It's hard to have one's child taken so soon, the pain is unbearable, the only comfort we have now is knowing we will see her again someday.  I know Lacey, she never wanted us to hurt she didn't like to see anyone hurt I guess that's why she was going to college to be a nurse.  She just trusted too much.  Lacey will live on, in our hearts and memories forever.  I know she is with God and loved ones now, so play with the angels now, Babes.                                      Love Mom and Dad

I lived in Johnstown quite a few years ago and had the joy of a friendship with both of you and your children. I have since moved, but still read the paper there and am deeply sorry to hear about Lacey. God Bless and comfort you and yours in this time of trial. Heaven has truly added another Angel.
