Larry Gutierrez, 50, of Greeley, passed away January 17, 2020.
Larry was born in Greeley, Colorado on December 6, 1969 to Tony and Josie (Lugo) Gutierrez. Larry graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1988. He married Victoria (Tanguma) Gutierrez on July 18, 2015 in Greeley, Colorado. Larry worked for over 30 years at Steamway Floor to Ceiling in Greeley, where he was treated like family, and also thought of them as such. Larry loved spending time with his family and friends, and loved playing with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing his guitar; his favorite guitarist was Joe Satriani, and listening to the Beatles, which was his all-time favorite band. Larry was also a member of Generations Church in Greeley.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Victoria; his mother, Josie; His son Brian (Marie) Gutierrez; his daughter, Trisha (Marcos) Morales; his step-sons, Christian Tanguma and Gavin Mendoza; his brother, Gary Gutierrez, and his grandchildren, Neziah Morales and Remedy Gutierrez.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Tony Gutierrez.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, January 30, 2020, followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM and Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley, CO 80634. Larry will always be a part of my family. I miss his smile every morning and evening, he was not just and employee, he was a dear friend and I considered him a brother. I truly believe that God broke the mold when he made Larry the world needs more men like him. Steamway will never be the same, he had so many customers that became his friend.
