Hello Sears Family. I'm so sorry for your loss and must apologize that I cannot attend services to see you all. Your Mom was a very strong woman and a wonderful wife, mother, and partner. My years working with J. Lee were always complemented by your Mom's quiet determination and undying support and love for her family. She had a great journey and set a great example. I'm thinking of you all.

LaVeda was one of my dear friends and I have so many wonderful memories of her, J. Lee, and their family. I think back to the times our families went camping and all the card playing through the years. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

Your Friend,

LaVeda was dear friend to my 98 year old mother. She was always eager to lend a helping hand, visiting my mother or taking her to church or Bible study when needed. Moreover she has been close friend to our family as well. Her sacrificial love and care was an extension of her loving, loyal and faithful service to her Savior Jesus Christ. We are saddened and we'll miss her on this earth but we rejoice that she's in the arms of her Creator and Savior.
