

Lawrence “Larry” Douglas Binnebose, 58
Larry was born on May 18th of 1961 at Ellsworth AF Base to Virgil Leroy and Sharon Jean (Carlock) Binnebose. He passed away surrounded by loved ones while listening to music on March 9th of 2020 at UCHealth- Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO.
Larry shared his life with Shelly Hamilton for 32 years before meeting Jane Harty on March 18th of 2014 and they spent a wonderful 6 years together. Larry had two children with Shelly named Bradley Alexander and Jessica Katherine in 1988 and 1992.
Larry graduated from Rapid City Central High School in 1979. He was active in band and chorus. In high school he was in the bands: Blue Lightening (Larry Binnebose, Mark Miller, Jeff Mcdonald, and David Meyer) and South Star (Larry Binnebose, Brent Stock, Jeff Mcdonald, David Meyer, and Dave Brown) with a few different buddies.
In 1981, he traveled to California with a group of friends to find their start in life. He stayed there until 1998. From there, he moved back to Rapid City, SD where he remained until his death.
He enjoyed attending concerts and playing in various bands and jamming over the years. He collected various rocks and maps and loved to get out in nature to explore and just take some pictures.
He bought his beloved 2006 Ford Mustang GT in 2014. It was his pride and joy!
Larry battled Stage 3 Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Throat from the end of 2015 through the end of 2017 after they successfully removed the tumor in a July 2017 surgery. He proved to be a fighter until the very end.
Larry will be loved and missed by all.
He is survived by his love Jane Harty of Rapid City, SD; son Bradley (Marissa) Binnebose and grandchildren Rhea Hunter and Broderick Binnebose of Zimmerman, MN; daughter Jessica (Chase Larson) Binnebose of Sioux Falls, SD; step daughter Kelsey Harty and granddaughter Kendall of Rapid City, SD; sisters Lori (Stewart) Joyce and Linda (David) Randolph both of Rapid City, SD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandma, grandpa, mother, father, and his grandson Owen Roslyn Binnebose.
