I'm his only son and wish I could have had more years with him, I miss him more than any one could imagine,he was the best father I could ask for ,he always supported me right or wrong,he never turned me down he's the best man I've ever known,he'd give everything he had tell he had nothing left it's been a few years now and I still can't believe he's gone  ....I love you dad I'll see you soon...

Eleven was my love/ hate situationship mate.  Over the last few years, he was my passenger, my costume party date, he posed as my +1 for a holiday party we attended in his community. I took up his chair space on many occasions, blocked his view of the dishes in the sink regularly.  I was labeled his housekeeper before his other friends and family knew me. He, being dubbed the pot stirrer, enjoyed getting a rise out of us girls, and later claimed it wasn't him who did that..  
We shared many meals, his guidance taught me to fix a few things on my car, showed me how to calculate roof pitch, explained the golden ratio and gave me names of the parts he drew, to help me navigate under the hood of my jeep, during my 6 hour round trip commute for a visit, once I moved. His generosity was and still is appreciated- his home he welcomed me in when I had no place to go.  Often our clashing personalities had me kicked out and him hot and madder than all hell. Stubborn and moody, we both were. My crazy would get pretty far out there and he would be grouched out for not getting his way.  This was our dynamic.  I read to him, researched our family names, he insisted royal blood flowed in his veins, I begged to differ, he told me to go away.    He enjoyed collecting items like clocks, watches, carved boxes, swords and a few knives. He replaced my broken fishing pole and gave me an ice rod for my birthday. 
A man of undying faith, graduating college in South Dakota earning his degree in Electrical Engineering. A Master Craftsman specializing in Cabinetry for a time,   was a skilled framer and roofer, earned a living driving cab, had a head for business, mathematics was second nature for him and he had a firm understanding of the barter and trade system.  Described as honest, trustworthy, hardworking and humble. Lee treated people fair, was helpful and generous and enjoy gifting his associates, friends and family when he was able.
Loved him some Led Zeppelin too.
