

Leoda Erbes, 91, of Fort Collins, formerly of Greeley, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at LeMay Avenue Health and Rehabilitation in Fort Collins. Leoda was born on July 21, 1920 to Henry and Amelia Mollie (Knopp) Kamerzell in Fort Collins.
Leoda attended schools in Timnath. She married John Erbes, Jr. in 1938 in Windsor. She was a farmer’s helpmate and homemaker with her husband. She later worked at Hewlett Packard for 17 years, she retired in 1982. In 1976, she married Arthur Wiedeman in Windsor. She was a member of Greeley Seventh Day Adventist and taught children at Sabbath School.
Leoda worked very hard. She was a loving mother and will be missed dearly.
Leoda is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Kenneth D.) Schraeder of Greeley and Barbara Leoda (Robert) Winick of Fort Collins; three sons, Kenneth Erbes of Fort Collins, Earl Erbes of Greeley and Gary (Robin) Erbes of Windsor; one sister, Lillian (Sam) Carter of Denver; one brother, Leroy Kamerzell of Nunn; 14 Grandchildren; 22 Great-Grandchildren and two Great-Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, daughters, Karen McKelvey and Janet Erbes, brothers, Harvey “Billy” Kamerzell and Herbert Kamerzell, sister, Florine and great-grandson, Christopher McKelvey.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 17 at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th St. Greeley. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 18 at Greeley Seventh Day Adventist, 1002 21st Avenue, Greeley. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
