Gary I think you are talking about Lloyd Wright . Leonard (Butch Wright) is my brother.

Hello my name is Garry Wright  i am bill Wright's son.  I don't know any of butch's family, I wish I did if I am not mistaken butch traveled with Bill on are travels when I was young like three or four I have memories of him loosing his temper. I would like to share those memories but want to be sure it was him. If anybody can confirm that buchn traveled with Bill Wright I will share my memories. The real heroes of our lives are people who go out of their way to help others.   I’m still grateful some thirty years later for the help Butch and Maxine gave my family at a critical time.  A son survived, a new generation is growing up and Butch’s family made a difference.   God doesn’t focus on what we do wrong.  That’s what people do.  God is more interested in what we do right.  Butch did a lot of things right.   He’d visit relatives no matter how far, he kept track of people and was always interested in what they were doing.   If you were part of Butch’s extended family you had it made him.  I hope to see my best friend again someday.  Bob Steen

I went to school with Butch at Mountain View Elementary School.  I remember him playing his drums at the schools talent show.  I remember him being really good too!  He took such pride in entertaining his classmates and teachers. 

Later on, a moved right across the street from Butch, Maxine and enjoying each addition to the family as they came into the world.  They were such a wonderful family to watch! 

He was always available to his neighbors, especially in their time of need with plumbing issues.  He helped me with issues with my furnace, hot water heater and plumbing. He truly was a friend, regardless how much time went by till he saw you the next time. 

Butch was a wonderful son, brother, husband, grandfather who will truly be missed. My sincere condolences Maxine and all of his family.

I have very fond memories of Butch, with a smile on his face at all times, playing with the kids and teasing Maxine! I went to school with Butch at Mountain View through Poudre High School.
Played basketball at Mountain View with him, he has a tiger on the court and always in the middle of the pile going after the ball and usually came out with it.  He was a master of the drums and a key to our school programs never bothered by other kids messing up. As I Remember He one time preformed on the Ed Sullivan Show. Always fun to be around. A fixture in the Old #10 The world was a better place because of him!

I have fond memories of Butch sitting at the kitchen table when I would walk into the house on Lake Rd.  He would always tell me to turn around and leave.  I would laugh and start harassing him back.  This would go on for sometime.  He was a big part of my life like all the members of the Wright family have been for years.  I am sorry to hear about his passing, and wish all of you love and condolences.  My thoughts are with all you!!

Good memories..great memories always. I remember ..he had a really old Jeep with no top or doors on it. We have great memories in it & together ..glad Maxine was in these memories just as well.

We so enjoyed our time visiting with Butch over the years. The lasting memory we have is how much he loved each and every one of his children, grandchildren and his wife, Maxine. He was proud of his family and his love radiated from every pore of his body. May he rest in peace.
