Leroy D. Hart

Leroy D. Hart, Jr., 63 of Orchard, CO, passed away at his home on January 31, 2017. Leroy was born December 17, 1953 in Greeley, CO, to Leroy Lawrence and Shirley Grace (Thompson) Hart. He and his companion, Desiree Johnson, celebrated their commitment for one another on New Year’s Eve, 2011.

Leroy graduated from Wiggins High School in Wiggins, CO in 1971. In his younger years he lived in various states working as a service technician on pivot sprinklers. Eventually he moved back to Colorado and started working for the Postal Service. He was a mail carrier since 1999.

Leroy enjoyed hunting for arrowheads, fishing, camping, playing cards and watching basketball.

He is survived by his companion Desiree; daughter Toni June (Brad) Ward; brother Larry (Heidi) Hart; sister Brenda Langford; and grandchildren Jayden, Haylee and Rylan Ward.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Leroy’s request, no services are to be held.
