Memories, there are so many.  Eastlake Grade School and our graduation of 5 boys and 1 girl.  Adams City High School and then our military tours.  Then back to Eastlake to enjoy life again.   ---  Remember the very early cold snowy mornings getting up to tend to our muskrat traps.  Hurrying back to see who caught one, or more than one.  Thanks for sharing your lakes and swampy spots with Stewart Berger and me.    ----  I remember that you had to have just the right kind of walking stick as we made our travels.  One of our duties was to tear out all the magpie nests we could find.  We never seemed to get tired of just tramping around, seeing if anything had changed from the last trip.    ----    I will not go into detail about our experience with the herd of sheep.  We thought one of them was dying, and you shot it with my 22 rifle.  As I recall, your Dad paid for the sheep.     ----     High School was a real ""trip"".  First your Mother drove us to Adams City and then when you got a drivers license, you drove us in your brand new Chevie with the spot light on the drivers side. Nobody, I mean nobody else at ACHS had a brand new car.     ----     Sunday School and the trip to Reverend Tibadeau's (sp.) mountain cabin. Great time! All of us had our favorite weird Hat.  You were the ""Captain"".     ----     I cannot believe how fast the time has gone by.  We were best of friends for a long time.  Many super fun times together.  We both married well and have great families.  You always did well here and I know you will do well where you are now.  Don May.

Remembering the noontimes when we were in Grade School at Eastlake when we crawled thru the fence with our ice skates slung around our necks to skate on Lambertson's lake.  Just one of the many memories of Eastlake.  LeRoy was very popular as a teenager when he was the first among our Church Youth Group to have his own car.  Sorry for your loss.  Marva Lea May
