LeRoy “Rocky” Rock, 68, passed away July 29, 2016, after fighting a strong battle with cancer. He was born April 8, 1948 in Los Angeles, California to Edward and Thelma (Speece) Rock. Rocky was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Los Angeles City College. After over 30 years, he retired from Unisys in 2013.
Rocky loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He always had a smile on his face and a laugh that will never be forgotten. He enjoyed fishing; especially fly fishing, camping and hiking. He loved to travel, driving all over the country and making surprise visits.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Mary Rock; children, Vince (Genny) Rock, Jeff (Jen) Rock, Shannon (Susanne) Kahley, Kelly (Scott) Milan; sister, Patricia Reese; grandchildren, Sean, Erik, Malia, Mason, Scotty, Logan; and his dog, Lilly.
No services will be held. A memorial has been established in Rocky’s name with Poudre Valley Hospital’s Companion Pet Program in care of Allnutt Funeral Service.
