LeRoy Lanham was born in Nebraska. He grew up in and around Cozad, Nebraska, where he graduated high school. LeRoy joined the U.S. Navy and served aboard an LST in the South Pacific. He married Una Mae York in Cozad on February 14, 1950. The family had lived in the Johnstown/Greeley area since 1954. LeRoy worked for Great Western for 26 years and worked at NCMC in maintenance for 10 years.
He is survived by his three daughters; their spouses; six grandsons; one granddaughter; two great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters.
