

Linda was born on November 23, 1947, in Greeley, Colorado, to Alexander and Doris Schneider (Hyde). She graduated from Valley High School in 1965 and later attended classes at Aims Community College. After high school she married Ronald Blackwell and had two wonderful children. On April 26, 1974, she married the love of her life, Richard E. Blehm. Who also had two children and their family grew. They shared many happy years until his passing.
Throughout her life, Linda was known for her strong work ethic and caring spirit. She worked for Zales Jewelers, Northern Colorado Medical Center, Rocky Mountain Lawn Service, and Liberty Tax. She also owned and operated Bullfrogs and Butterflies Daycare, where she combined her love of children with her gift for nurturing others. Earlier in her career, she served as a secretary and telephone operator.
Linda's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She faithfully served her church in many capacities, including Sunday School teacher, choir member, pianist, special music participant, Christmas play writer and director, and nursing home ministry volunteer. She found joy in sharing her talents and encouraging others through her service.
Linda loved traveling and enjoyed seeing new places and meeting new people. She participated in numerous bowling leagues over the years and had many hobbies, including crafts, music, genealogy, family history gardening, scrapbooking, baking cookies, and putting together family gatherings. She especially loved children and treasured every opportunity to spend time with her family.
Those who knew Linda will remember her infectious laugh, her easy-going and forgiving nature, and her remarkable ability to love everyone she met. Her warmth, kindness, and generous heart touched countless lives.
Linda is survived by her children: Teresa (John) Doell of Pasco, Washington; Christine Blehm of LaSalle, Colorado; Rodger (Jackie) Blackwell of Greeley, Colorado; Scott Blehm of Aurora, Colorado; Daniel (Sarah) Blehm of Lancaster, California; and Joshua (Hannah) Blehm of Greeley, Colorado. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren: Benjamin, Aleesha, Natasha, Dustin, Gregory, Breana,, Kasandra, Robert, Danielle, Tyler, Emily, Cade, Kaleigh, Cooper, Elsie, Corrie, Jordan, Darcy, and Layla; 12 great-grandchildren; her brother, Gary (Judy) Schneider; her nurse/adopted daughter Vicky (Brad) Gilmer; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Blehm; her parents, Alexander and Doris Schneider; and her brother, Don and Connie Schneider.
A funeral service celebrating Linda's life will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Greeley Baptist Church.

Linda's legacy of faith, love, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
