Lori Lynn Dyer of Greeley died Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Hospice and Palliative Care Unit, Greeley. She was born October 27, 1963 in Greeley to Raymond Allen and Stella Irene (Baca) Brown. She graduated from Greeley West High School. After graduation she attended Aims College and the University of Northern Colorado, she was studying to be a teacher and a school counselor.
She married Rod Dyer in June of 1994 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, they later divorced.
She was very involved as a member St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She attended several World Youth Day functions and enjoyed visits to the Mother Cabrini Shrine.
Lori volunteered at many schools. She loved helping kids.
Lori enjoyed crocheting, collecting ballpoint pens, movies, and trips to Central City.
Time spent with Brittney and Joshuah was very important to her. She took Joshuah to Disneyland and Hollywood.
She is survived by her daughter Brittney Lynn Dyer, son Joshuah Dyer, mother Stella Brown and grandmother Alfretta Brown all of Greeley, her brother Jerry (Brenda) Brown of Pierce and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father.
Visitation 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Stoddard Funeral Home.
Recitation of the Rosary 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday, both at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
