

Lydia along with her parents and older brother left Russia and boarded a ship in Liverpool, England. They traveled to the United States and arrived in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They settled in Colorado in the Windsor and New Waverly area, where Lydia attended school.
Lydia married Alan Everett Danielson. After their marriage, they lived in several communities throughout the United States and Canada. Lydia attended Two Rivers Fellowship Church in Greeley. She worked has a waitress and was a homemaker. She was a very good cook and could cook many dishes, including German dishes. She enjoyed crocheting, making table clothes and bed spreads, she also made a variety of dolls with homemade dresses.
Lydia is survived by her son, Neil Danielson of Mesa, AZ, nephews, Gilbert Kaiser and Thomas (Theressa) Kaiser, sisters, Millie Shannon of Evans and Irene Preston of Denver and brother, Victor (Doris) Specht of Fort Collins. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lydia is preceded in death by her husband, who died on May 26, 1999.
Visitation 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
