

2022. She was born February 27th, 1956 in Topeka, Kansas to parents Ernest
and Cora Fishburn.
Lynette attended CU-Boulder and married her one and only husband James Tanner on December 2nd, 1978, who preceded her in death. For several years, she team drove as an over the road trucker with James and later operated their business, Front Range Maintenance. They decided to settle down after the birth of their daughter Jamie, on January 16th 1990 and moved to Gilcrest Colorado. That move is what created the well known farming family we all know and love.
Lynette was the light that shone on everyone that was blessed to meet, know and love her. She inspired people to pursue what they can truly achieve and become. She was an advocate for education, agriculture, and environmental sustainability. She also loved to donate to many charities including Weld/Denver county food banks, HBCUs, and CSU land grant Colleges. Lynette passed away with many friends and family at her side during various times throughout the day.
She is survived by her sister, Sharon Dart and husband Russell Dart; daughter, Jamie Lyn; three grandchildren; one sister-in- law; two nieces, five nephews along with a host of great(gran)-nieces and -nephews, all of Colorado.
In addition to her husband, Lynette was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Cora Fishburn;
brother, Brian Fishburn; sister Victoria Fishburn and sister in-law, Alicia Lingham.
The Celebration of Life Service will be performed by Minister, Ernestine Fishburn, of the Universal Life Church. Cremation took place.
