Mabel worked in a laundromat and at K-Mart; though she was mostly a homemaker. Mabel was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who enjoyed cross-stitch and quilting in her spare time. She was a lifelong member of the Salvation Army Church, where she volunteered and rang the bell at Christmas. Mabel was also a member of the Home League at the Salvation Army. Mabel was a huge sports fan, loved helping people and loved animals; though her family was most important to her. Mabel loved Elvis; she even got to meet the Greeley Elvis.
Mabel is survived by her daughters; Terri Park and Michelle (Gary) Knight, sons; Ed Park and Jason Park, sisters; Elizabeth Murray and Pauline “Kay” (Doug) Parker and brothers; Paul Wilson and Charles Wilson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; Ginger (her grand-dog), Devin, Adrianna, Tanesha, Brayden, Zamarah, Taysia, Chance, Caleb and Gunnar and seven great-grandchildren.
Mabel is preceded in death by her parents, her brother; Ronnie Wilson; and four grandchildren.
A celebration of life in Mabel’s honor will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Salvation Army, 1119 6th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Interment will follow at Linn Grove Cemetery, 1700 Cedar Ave, Greeley, Colorado. A reception will immediately follow the interment at the Salvation Army, 1119 6th Street, Greeley, Colorado.
