Malachi Titan Grismore Perry was born on February 13, 2026, and passed away on May 17, 2026. He was a precious gift from God whose life, though brief, left an everlasting impact on everyone who had the honor of loving him.
His mother described her pregnancy journey with Malachi as “a smooth rocky road” filled with hospital visits, sleepless nights, tears, prayers, and unwavering love. Through every hardship came the blessing she had prayed for, a son whose life would forever be treasured.
Malachi’s name carried deep meaning. His first name, Malachi, means “Messenger of God,” reflecting the strength, light, and vibrant spirit he carried. His middle name, Titan, represented the battles he faced from the beginning and the courage with which he overcame them.
During his 55-day stay in the NICU, Malachi showed immense resilience while surrounded by the love of devoted nurses, family, and friends. The experience brought his parents even closer together through every hug, every prayer, and every moment spent by his side. He found comfort in warm hugs, soft kisses from his mother, and the unwavering love of his family. He also had a special love for dinosaurs, especially T-Rexes.
Though tiny in size, Malachi’s personality filled every room. His famous little side-eye brought laughter, and his giant blue eyes resembled a starry night sky, full of wonder, warmth, and peace. He brought endless smiles and joy to everyone he encountered.
Malachi’s family hoped for a life filled with happiness, strength, and endless possibilities for him. They never wanted the challenges he faced to define who he was, but instead for his life to reflect the light, love, and resilience he carried every day. Though his time here was short, the love Malachi brought into the lives of his family will remain everlasting.
He is survived by his loving mother, Chanel Grismore; his devoted father, Zachariah Perry; and his cherished brothers and sisters, Josijha, Mya, Jeremiah, Azariah, Analaya, and Zyra, along with many family members and loved ones who will carry his memory forever in their hearts.
To Malachi, his family shares these words:
“In every lifetime we will find each other, and the love we have will never be disturbed, but one that will bring happiness forever and again.”
