Margaret grew up in the LaSalle and Evans area, later moving to Greeley.
On January 22, 1939 she married Wally Short in Greeley.
Margaret enjoyed attending the Harvest Time Tabernacle.
She was an avid bowler, bowling with her husband in several bowling leagues during her younger years. They enjoyed trips to bowling competitions. She was a die-hard Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets fan. Margaret loved to grow tomatoes from seed.
Margaret enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Glenn Haven and in general time spent with her family and friends.
Margaret is survived by her brother, Lee (Darlene) Bauer of Greeley and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wally Short, three brothers and one sister.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
