Lorraine Weber, also known as “Pete” to family and close friends, was born in Greeley, Colorado on June 12, 1925, to Marion S. and Catherine R. (Galvin) Weber.
Lorraine graduated from Greeley High School. After graduation she attended U.N.C. where she received her teaching degree. Lorraine worked for school district six until her retirement on September 1, 1985. Lorraine taught kindergarten and first grades at Maplewood, Franklin and Cameron Elementary.
Lorraine was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Alpha Delta Kappa and also of the Keen Age Singers. Lorraine enjoyed music, traveling and collecting clowns. She was an avid watcher of baseball and hockey.
Lorraine is survived by four sisters, Betty Chandler of Greeley, Dorothy Lutz (Wayne) of Loveland, Jean Ruth of Greeley and Pat Onorato (Ray) of Milliken; a brother Robert Weber (Mary Lou) of Greeley; nine nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents and a niece, Linda Sue Chandler.
Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Inurnment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
