Maria S. Aldana de Vega

Maria Santos Aldana de Vega (Doña Santos), 69, of Greeley, passed away, July 23, 2017 at North Colorado Medical Center. She was born March 27, 1948 in Jalisco, Mexico to Ignacio and Ildifonsa Aldana.

Maria is survived by her husband Jesus; sons Manuel (Ericka) Vega, Abel (Nancy) Vega, Benjamin (Amparo) Vega, Octavio (Rosa Elva) Vega, Jorge (Maria Isela) Vega, Santos Guadalupe (Yadira) Vega, Edgar N. (Marisela) Vega, and daughter Rosa Maria (Genaro) Nuñez; her mother Ildifonsa Aldana; sisters Rosalva, Blanca, Gloria, Maria de Jesus, Antonia, Elvira; brothers Fortino, Juan, Isidro and Uriel Ignacio Aldana; grandchildren Angela, Mariana, Tanya, Nancy, Reyna, Andrian, Maira, Marissa, Maribel, Mariana, Marianita, Maite, Maricruz, Benjamin, Emily, Jesus, Jasmin, Princesa, Angel, Genaro, Alonso, Camilla, Maria Isela, Rosa, Jorge Manuel, Lizeth, Abigail, Judith, Abelardo, Jackelin, Jonathan, Yadira, Jordy, Everardo, Isela, Samantha, Edgar S., Jovanny, Monico, Monica, Arali, Enrique, Ismael.; great grandchildren Itzel, Arysai, Julio, Alexander, Ayden, Zuriel, Renata, Luisangel, Joseangel, Abelangel, Sergio, Rosendo, Miguel, Jesse Jr., Daniela, Santiago, Jesus A., Cielo, Sofia, Princesa E., Ivan, Jesus O., Natalia, Jairo, Yaretxy, Azalea, and Allison.

She is preceded in death by her son Jesus Alonso, her father, Ignacio, a brother, Jesus and a sister, Rosa.

Maria’s hobbies include, gardening, shopping, cooking for her family, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 28, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Interment Linn Grove Cemetery.
