Marian Billings, 90, of Greeley, passed away on October 21, 2012.

She was a graduate of University High in Greeley and a graduate of the Colorado State College of Education (UNC). She retired after a 32- year career with the US West Telephone Company.

Marian loved dancing, traveling, baking and sewing.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Tabb Harding) Fresques, Denver, CO; sister, Mildred Schlagel; grandchildren Michael (Elizabeth) Powers, Patrick (Peter) Powers-Lake, Rob (Juli) Powers and Jason (Hannah) Billings; 7 great-grandchildren; and by her longtime companion, Mervyn Martin and his children Beverley Martin, Thomas Martin, Carla Ikenouye and Marla Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hilda Schmidt; son, Kenneth Billings; sister, Marjorie McNiel; brothers, Elmer, John, Melvin, Clarence, Roy and David Schmidt.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012, with the services to follow beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Allnutt Macy Chapel. Interment will be held at Linn Grove Cemetery. Reception at the Allnutt Reception Center.
