Marian Voelz

Marian Louise (Gardner) Voelz passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021. She was born May 13, 1929 to Theodore and Florence Gardner in Clinton, Wisconsin. She married Robert William Voelz, Jr. April 4, 1948 at the home of her parents in Avalon, WI. The couple became residents of Greeley in 1949.

She was employed at Kmart for 14 ½ years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she enjoyed participating in volunteer activities and was a member of United Methodist Women and Sewing for Service.

Marian is survived by sons, Gregory L. (a special daughter-in-law, Charee), Michael D. (Cora), and daughter Lynne L. (Sam) Suppes, all of Greeley; grandchildren, Marcia (Dino) Guadagni, Kristin (Dale) Harding, Jennifer (Ryan) Boone, Mandy Straight, Darren (Angela) Suppes, and Lisa (Andrew) Koch; great-grandchildren Gabriella and Isabella Guadagni, Olivia Harding, Ashlynne, Brendan, Carson and Devyn Boone, Eamonn, Jazmine and Eoghan Suppes, and Kaylee and Noah Koch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, in 2005, her son, Jerry in 2013, her brother, Allen Gardner in 2005, her sister Janet in 2002, and her parents.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers from Garden Square at Westlake for their loving care.

A private family service will be held.
