Jon and I are cousins, and I grew to know Marilyn through him. Family was and is important to Jon and Marilyn, throughout the years I've known them, they regularly kept in touch with Marilyn’s family and Jon’s. When I needed a break from my stressful life with too much work, and too few resources, I went over to Jon and Marilyn’s. In the time before, the time before Marilyn, I rarely visited Jon. After Marilyn married Jon there was always a home, for them, and their family members. I grew to count on the warm welcome at their home; Jon and Marilyn were family. I smile when I remember listening to Marilyn’s exciting tales of her daring escapades during her teenage years. There was always lots of stories! She introduced me to Japanese massage as she learned from her aunt, and was a great masseuse! She and Jon were animal lovers and there was always one mutt around. My favorite was Snoop, small, spunky with intelligent eyes. There are some pictures of him in the photo album memory book.
Marilyn was a woman without affectation or superficiality. Life wasn’t easy, there were hardships a plenty, including multiple health issues. Even a bout with cancer that took a number of years to fight. These last 5-6 years were especially hard as she ended up in a wheelchair and on oxygen. I know it was exceedingly hard on her and took a toll on both of them. Yet, through it all, she and Jon remained loyal and steadfast to one another. That is how I will remember Marilyn, as the loyal and loving life partner to my cousin Jon and gave him reason to live and love again. For that reason, Jon will never truly be alone again. Thank you for entering our lives dear cousin Marilyn! Our lives, my life, is better for it.

To My Teddy Bear Jonathan Bryan!
No matter how mixed up our lives get, always remember I love only you!
No matter where we end up, as long as we are together, it just doesn't matter!
Let's try real hard not to let this new mess stress us out to much things will work out if we just have the patience to ride out the storm.
We will always have more than money could ever buy, our love for each other.
It makes me sad when you come home so unhappy from work quit if you want to, there are more jobs out there! Even if it's not here, somewhere there will be a job tailor made for only you!
I will follow you to the end's of the earth if that's what it takes. Any where is fine, as long as we are side by side, step by step together!
Love you for a lifetime
