I am so sorry for your loss.  I happened across news of Mark's passing by chance. I live in Virginia and don't keep in touch with Boca friends, only family. I remember Mark from his senior year in high school as a hilariously funny and caring guy. He was so entertaining, never at a loss for words or jokes. I wish we'd all kept in touch more. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Mark and I worked at Cinergi consulting, he was a great guy and had a very positive work ethic. We both continued to work together as Cinergi was bought by IMR and then CGI. Mark had a way to make you laugh, or at least me! I loved his ""dry"" humor. After he left we stayed in touch for a few years and drifted separate ways... I actually considered calling him several times recently and was not able to find him - I wish I worked harder at it! My sorrows for Terri and family, please let me know if I can help in any way.

Terri, I am so deeply sorry to hear about Mark's death. I never thought I'd be sending an email condolence--so cold, I always thought when I saw those url's listed at the end of an obituary. But since we lost touch years ago, I had no idea where you were even living when Nancy Dering called to ask if that was your husband whose picture she'd seen in the Gary Post last week. I dug through my recycling to find the one paper last week that I hadn't even opened. And since I had no current phone or address to contact you, here I am doing what I thought I'd never do: sending an email full of inadequate words when what I would really like to do is give you a long, silent hug. Please don't think me trite when I say I have some idea what you may have been going through for however long Mark has been sick. You see, two years ago Chandra was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer and we are now approaching the time to contact hospice. So I know what a nightmarish roller-coaster ride you have probably been on. My heart aches for you and the children. I don't understand why such terrible losses occur to young families. But I do believe there is a God Presence surrounding us all with love and healing comfort. I am thinking of you, Terri, and seeing you filled with the necessary energy and strength to get you and your children through this grief.

Mark was our first employee at our dotcom.  David and I enjoyed spending time going to dinner with Mark and Terri and Mark was a regular at poker night.  His witty sense of humor and passion for life and his family will be sorely missed.  Our thoughts and sympathy are with his family.
