Mary spent her childhood in Lamesa, before her and her family moved to La Salle, Colorado. Mary married Conrad Esparza on November 25th 1963 in Greeley. Her and her family lived in La Salle for the majority of her live, in a home that her and her family has always known as “the farm”.
Mary had a strong faith in Jesus and was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and most recently attended St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a wonderful homemaker. She had a passion for cooking for the family as nothing made her happier than knowing that they left her home with a full stomach. She loved taking care of her grandkids. She loved everything from picking them up from school, bringing them food, attending every activity they were involved in and sneaking them a $20 before they left. Above all, everyone who was fortunate to know her understands the immense impact her love and care had and will continue to have on their lives.
Mary is survived by her husband, Conrad; sons, Conrad Esparza (Sarah) of Greeley and Rodney Esparza of Fort Collins; three grandchildren, Amanda, Nathan and Jacob; five great-grandchildren, Hailey, Madison, Lucy, Andrew and Jordan and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
